Business Development Specialist - EST/CST

Position Summary The Business Development Specialist (BDS) engages Health Care Professionals (HCPs) via telephone conversations to promote assigned client products, maximize product sales potential, and meet program and client objectives. The BDS creates and maintains relationships with HCPs, educates them about product features, benefits, safety, approved indications and loyalty program platforms, and collaborates with client field‑based teams and management. Some on‑site practice visits for in‑services may be required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Communicate persuasively with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills, appropriate terminology and approved messaging.
Manage daily call activity and influence customers to increase platform awareness.
Profile and manage a targeted list of accounts and deliver value‑added benefits to grow product and platform awareness.
Create and implement business plans to achieve business goals.
Maintain call productivity and required metrics.
Achieve quarterly client KPIs.
Promote client products via outbound/inbound calls, engaging assigned targets in in‑depth discussions.
Stay thoroughly knowledgeable of client products, programs, and platforms.
Complete required data entry in Amplity/Client CRM systems.
Respond appropriately to customer needs and questions within program timelines.
Partner with client field sales and account managers to plan coverage when required.
Maintain a positive impression with clients and their customers.
Prepare reports for management as needed.
Comply with all laws, regulations, Amplity Policies, Code of Conduct, privacy, and data guidelines.
Participate in teleconferences and live national, regional, and district meetings.
Assist with other projects as assigned.
Key Working Relationships
Report to the Amplity Performance Manager or Program Director.
Work closely with team members assigned to the program and home‑office support.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, client contacts, and all client business units.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
2+ years of relevant business or sales experience.
Flexibility to cover multiple time zones and travel to office sites if needed.
Successful completion of Amplity and client training.
Excellent technical skills with Microsoft Office and related programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in B2B inside sales.
Experience in aesthetics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Professional demeanor and strong phone manner.
Commitment to providing superior support and service.
Ability to learn, understand, and communicate complex information over the telephone.
High initiative, effort, and commitment to complete projects.
Technical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Statement of compliance with training and participation in client and national meetings.
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record; may include regional air travel.

Credentialing Requirements Representatives may need to submit and maintain credentials such as training, vaccinations, vaccinations, and other documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. Certain jurisdictions may require a representative license; candidates in D.C., Chicago, Nevada, Oregon, or Jackson Memorial Health in Miami‑Dade County Florida may need to obtain specific licenses. Changes to requirements will be communicated as they occur.
