Research and develop new methods for insurance rating and loss reserving Prepare and coordinate analyses of rate and statistical filings for regulatory agencies Train and mentor Actuarial Analysts to enhance team capabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support and insights Conduct data analysis and recommend changes to insurance products based on findings What is Required (Qualifications)
BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field with 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance Or a graduate degree in a relevant field with 3 years of experience in the same area At least 5 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis in personal lines pricing insurance Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams demonstrating proficiency in the field Strong analytical and communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Expert-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively through presentations In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace Basic programming skills in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python) Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteer efforts #Insurance #ActuarialAnalysis #RemoteWork #CareerGrowth #DiversityAndInclusion We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
