Job Overview As a Field Installation Merchandiser Floater, you will collaborate with local store teams and fellow merchandisers on new store installations, resets/redesigns and seasonal installations. You will showcase your organization, time management, ability to establish retailer relationships and be the face of Hallmark. Occasionally you may work with products from other companies that Hallmark serves. In this role you will be provided with a schedule in advance for the accounts you service. You will remove product, dismantle and build/assemble fixtures, and place products on display, ranging from a small reset on a 4‑ft display to an entire department. Typically, an on‑site Installation Supervisor will assign tasks to each Hallmarker on the team.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting pay will be between

$16.60 - $18.60

depending on your skills and experience.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours for this position are between

15 – 20 hours per week .

Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is

required .

Your Role and Responsibilities

Installation day engagement : As part of the Installation team, you will be responsible for the assigned reset/installation activity, including removing product and trash, dismantling fixtures, building fixtures, and displaying products. This may include evenings or weekend hours. You will use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to communicate with your supervisor, provide feedback, answer surveys, monitor inventory, and report time.

Holiday support : Hallmark’s operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours during the work week.

One Team Vision : As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers professionals who often support other team members as needed in their territories.

Additional Requirements This role covers the geographical area of: Chicago, Elmwood Park, Lincolnwood, Oak Park. Chicago is roughly the center. You must live within this area and be available to travel to work within the area.

Physical Demands This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also be required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and you may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

You are at least 18 years of age.

You are able to read, write and understand English.

You have the ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.

You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.

You have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
