Join our team as a Customer Service Representative supporting AT&T customers! If you’re methodical, persuasive, and energized by turning frustration into loyalty, this is the perfect place to be. Prepare to handle customer inquiries about fiber, wireless, and internet services, and convert service interactions into opportunities to sell upgrades. Note that this is a commission-based role where your ability to convert support into sales matters.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for: Take in-person requests to resolve account, billing, and service questions while proposing relevant AT&T products. Present and sell fiber, wireless, and internet upgrades during support interactions. Close add-on and upgrade sales arising from service calls and chats. Document interactions and outcomes accurately in CRM systems. Coordinate with field technicians and scheduling teams to ensure smooth installations. Track service issues through resolution and follow up proactively. Meet weekly conversion and customer satisfaction metrics (performance-driven). Maintain knowledge of promotions, bundles, and troubleshooting procedures.
The Customer Service Representative needs to possess:
1+ year customer service or telesales experience preferred. Clear, professional phone and written communication. Comfortable making sales recommendations in a service context. Empathy and strong problem-solving under pressure. Experience with CRM tools and basic computer proficiency. Dependable attendance and ability to work shift schedules. Positive attitude and ability to de-escalate situations. Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish helpful in Tyler area).
