The
Proposal Specialist III
is a Marketing Proposal Specialist who collaborates with the West Region business development and operations team on pursuits. The role supports the full proposal lifecycle, including preparation of solicitations, proposals, and presentations. This hybrid position can be based in Dallas, Austin, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. Responsibilities
Lead medium to large proposals and presentations from capture through to interview stage, providing support as needed. Work with capture managers to develop win strategies during capture and interview preparation. Create annotated outlines and content plans and recommend technical section structures. Serve as lead writer and editor for tailored resumes, past performance sections, executive summaries, and management approaches. Facilitate color reviews (Pink and Red team), quality reviews, and apply lessons learned. Implement proposal and presentation revisions based on review team feedback. Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority, capture planning, and positioning. Complete internal debriefs for proposals led and support win/loss debriefs and client feedback gathering. Support marketing or pursuits strategy and content development related to clients/markets, campaigns, CAMs, and business lines as needed. Coach entry‑level proposal team members. Perform a self‑check of work prior to submission for review. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS plus 4 years of experience in a marketing team leading or supporting proposal activity or an equivalent of experience and/or education. Strong understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production. Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Knowledge of the A/E industry and interest in AECOM’s projects, credentials, and competitors. Knowledge of marketing best practices, procedures, and tools. Working knowledge of InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc. CRM Salesforce experience is a plus. Initiative and commitment to manage multiple projects concurrently and bring tasks to completion. Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail. Proven organizational and administrative skills and ability to manage documents. Additional Information

The range for this position is $65,000 to $90,000 per year, based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Benefits
