Overview Lakelands Golf & Country Club is a member-owned private facility founded in 1922. Lakelands Golf & Country Club includes an 18-hole traditional American course with tree-lined fairways and small undulating greens. Practice facility with driving range, putting green, chipping green & a practice hole. Full-service clubhouse with excellent dining and banquet facilities for members and their guests. Lakelands Golf & Country Club also has a Beach House located adjacent to course with on-site lifeguards on a non-motorized lake. The course has recently been through a complete irrigation renovation (2022) and bunker renovation, completed by Mike DeVries in 2024.

Lakelands is looking for an individual with the drive, attitude, work ethic, and customer service experience to handle all aspects of the golf operation at a private facility. This is a full-time seasonal position with an estimated start date in March working through November.

Experience Required

Current PGA Class A Member or Associate in good standing

Knowledge of Golf Genius and Club Essential

Private Club experience preferred

Essential Responsibilities

Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection

Assist with Men's, Women's, and Junior golf events & programs as required by the Head Professional

Assist with the management of the outside services team, including bag storage, cart maintenance, and bag room procedures.

GAM membership details for membership including registration and mobile application

Assist in merchandising of the Golf Shop

Assist in monthly inventory control specific to but not limited to balls, gloves, bags, men's & women's apparel

Assist in coordinating golf events with other departments

Conduct oneself in professional manner at all times

Playing golf with members of varying abilities and groups

Knowledge, Skills, & Traits

Fundamental knowledge of the Rules of Golf, golf facilities operation, and tournament operations

Strong organizational, prioritizing, and planning skills

Self-motivated with the desire to promote and market

Must work well in a team setting

Strong customer service skills

Strong computer skills using: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
