The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Server Assistant

to support the front‑of‑house team at

Genievieve’s , our elegant Italian dining concept within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who takes pride in maintaining a refined dining environment and contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and orderly dining room by promptly clearing and resetting tables with care and attention to detail.

Support servers and hosts by ensuring timely table turnover and readiness for incoming guests.

Assist with water service, bread delivery, and other guest touchpoints as directed.

Monitor and replenish supplies such as linens, silverware, and glassware.

Maintain cleanliness in service stations, floors, and guest areas throughout service.

Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.

Collaborate with the front‑of‑house team to ensure a smooth and elevated dining experience.

Support private dining and special event setups and breakdowns.

Maintain a professional appearance and discreet presence during service.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during service hours.

Comfortable lifting and transporting trays, dishware, and supplies (up to 30 pounds).

Clear and effective communication in both verbal and written formats.

Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills And Abilities

Minimum of 1 year experience in a support or service role within an upscale or fine dining environment preferred.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the service team.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Familiarity with dining room standards and service etiquette.

ServSafe Certification preferred.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
