The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking an attentive and polished
Server
to deliver refined hospitality at
Genievieve’s , our elegant Italian dining concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for service, a deep appreciation for culinary artistry, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
As a
Server , you will guide guests through their dining journey with grace and expertise, ensuring each interaction reflects the World Equestrian Center’s core values of
Quality, Class, and Distinction .
Primary Responsibilities
Provide warm, personalized service that anticipates guest needs and exceeds expectations.
Present menus with confidence and knowledge, offering thoughtful recommendations and pairing suggestions.
Accurately take orders and coordinate with culinary and beverage teams to ensure timely and precise delivery.
Maintain a polished and professional presence throughout service.
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns with discretion and care.
Ensure table settings, service areas, and presentation standards are consistently upheld.
Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
Support private dining and special event service with elegance and attention to detail.
Maintain compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and elevated dining experience.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during service hours.
Comfortable lifting and carrying trays, plates, and supplies (up to 25 pounds).
Clear and effective communication in both verbal and written formats.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills And Abilities
Minimum of 2 years experience as a server in an upscale or fine dining environment.
Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings.
Professional appearance and refined demeanor.
Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling.
ServSafe and Alcohol Compliance Certifications required.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Experience with private dining and special events preferred.
