CDL B Driver - Inside Sales
Location: Hutchinson, KS – Retail shop
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay: $28/hour (plus benefits)
Seniority Level: Entry level
Responsibilities
Full-time consistent scheduling; Monday through Friday, with possible alternating Saturdays on call.
Stand as the first point of contact for customers, using expert knowledge to understand their needs.
Engage in inside sales, providing quotes and solutions to customers.
Maintain smooth store operation – organize merchandise, process sales in system.
Serve as reliable CDL backup: deliver gases and welding products; operate safely and reliably.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of Class A or B CDL driving experience, verified under DOT requirements within the last 5 years, or a recent graduate of an accredited driving school.
Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, or ability to obtain Hazmat upon offer.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and minimum age 21.
Physical capability to lift and handle 25–75 lbs, up to 125+ lbs with equipment; ability to bend, walk, stand, drive up to 8 hrs a day.
Customer service skills, proactive attitude, familiarity with sales platforms and ability to learn new systems (SAP, CRM).
