Yelp - Inside Sales Representative (Remote - Central or Eastern Region)
Yelp was created to connect people with great local businesses. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be working directly with small local business owners via phone to help them grow their business through Yelp’s advertising programs. Your primary focus will be to educate business owners about the value of Yelp’s advertising platform, reach and qualify leads, and close sales to meet and exceed monthly quotas.
What you'll do
Educate, strategize, and discuss Yelp advertising programs through a high volume of outbound dialing to business owners; this role is 100% phone based.
Work a schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., as determined by your manager.
Own and manage a pipeline of clients from dentists to florists to restaurant owners, all organized in our CRM (Salesforce).
Become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and provide product recommendations quickly to suit client needs.
Master quick close techniques to exceed individual goals.
Navigate the initial call to qualification to close process, ensuring lasting customer satisfaction and potential upsell opportunities.
Achieve and consistently exceed monthly quotas, utilizing strong work ethic and tenacity.
Track and manage daily goals to ensure results are met.

What it takes to succeed
GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer-facing experience OR a Bachelor's Degree.
No fear of the phone and prepared to make a high volume of outbound dials daily.
General computer and email proficiency—Google Suite and a Macbook laptop are used.
A work environment free of distractions.
Open to feedback and willing to implement for areas of improvement.
Strong engaging interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage independently without oversight.
Must possess current U.S. work authorization.
What you'll get
First-year earnings range from $50k-$65k annually through a combination of base salary and uncapped monthly sales incentives.
Year 2 on target earnings is $70k with top performers averaging $112k.
Starting base salary of $37k plus uncapped commission.
Full medical, vision, and dental available on the first day.
15 days PTO per year for the first 2 years of employment; number of PTO days increases after 2 years of tenure, 7 paid wellness days, 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday.
