Yelp connects people with great local businesses. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will work directly with small business owners to help them meet their goals through Yelp’s advertising programs. You will customize solutions to grow their businesses.

Responsibilities

Educate, strategize, and discuss Yelp advertising programs with business owners through high-volume outbound dialing (phone-based, fast-paced).

Work a schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., as determined by the manager.

Own and manage a pipeline of clients ranging from dentists to florists to restaurant owners, organized in Salesforce.

Work remotely from home, selling advertising to small local businesses on a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

Become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and provide product recommendations quickly, asking probing questions and overcoming objections.

Master quick‑close techniques to exceed individual goals.

Navigate the qualification‑to‑close process to ensure lasting customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities.

Achieve and consistently exceed monthly quotas, maintaining a numbers‑driven focus.

Track and manage daily goals so results are met.

Qualifications

Strong appetite for learning, turning training and feedback into action.

Multitasking ability, navigating multiple tabs and video conferencing tools.

Savvy with new tools and software such as Google Suite and Salesforce.

Curiosity and willingness to ask many questions to find answers.

Comfortable working with a virtual, cross‑state team.

High integrity and a team‑player mindset.

Determined, persuasive, resilient, and gritty.

Genuine curiosity about people and local businesses; ability to inspire passion.

Adaptable, thinking on feet; challenges met without failure.

Requirements

GED/HS diploma with 2+ years of customer‑facing experience OR a Bachelor’s degree.

Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.

General computer and email proficiency; use of Google Suite; MacBook provided.

Work environment free of distractions.

Open to feedback and willing to implement improvements.

Strong, engaging interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage independently.

Current U.S. work authorization.

Compensation & Benefits

First‑year earnings range from $50k to $65k annually through base salary and uncapped monthly sales incentives.

Year 2 on‑target earnings of $70k; top performers average $112k.

Starting base salary of $37k plus uncapped commission.
