What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Collaborate effectively with various teams to support strategic sales and revenue goals
Assist in developing customized territory plans, including target markets and sales tactics
Conduct technical seminars and presentations on Illumina Sequencing product lines
Build long-term relationships with customers, providing value in every interaction
Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of Next Generation Sequencing and multiomic applications
Customer-facing sales or support experience in Life Sciences or Genomics preferred
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Highly self‑motivated, adaptable, and successful in dynamic work environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Ph.D. or Masters in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Genomics, or related field is highly desired
MBA is a plus
Proven ability to learn quickly and maintain deep knowledge of sequencing applications
Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships
Reliable individual with excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
