Our rapidly expanding firm in the Greater Boston area is seeking a motivated Senior Audit Associate who is eager to grow with us. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to advance their career in a supportive, dynamic environment with unlimited growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Review audit workpapers for both nonprofit and for-profit entities
Manage client timelines and ensure all reporting requirements are met
Collaborate directly with firm leadership to address client accounting needs
Apply critical thinking to organize and solve complex, unstructured problems
Review staff work for accuracy, completeness, and relevance
Utilize appropriate tools and explain their application in various scenarios
Embrace opportunities to gain exposure to diverse industries and perspectives
Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and professional standards
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on new challenges
Proficient in Excel, PDF editors, QuickBooks Online, Office 365, and ProSystem fx Engagement
Comfortable managing multiple projects and learning new tasks
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and open to feedback for continuous growth
Solid understanding of accounting and audit procedures
Experience in financial statement preparation
2–5 years of public accounting experience preferred
CPA license or active pursuit of CPA designation

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA candidate preferred
Minimum 2+ years of audit experience in public accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to interpret financial reports and technical documents
Commitment to building effective working relationships
