Job Summary:
Join our growing team as an Order Picker in sunny Tampa, Florida! We are seeking efficient and motivated individuals to contribute to our Logistics operations. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. The position requires physical dexterity and the ability to perform consistent Lifting of products, some of which may be heavy. Accuracy and speed are key, as you will be working against targets to ensure timely order processing. We prioritize a safe working environment above all else. Strict adherence to all Safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are expected from all team members. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick specified items from warehouse inventory using order lists or scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Safety standards.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques for all items handled.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE as required by company policy.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming merchandise.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and efficiency.
