Responsibilities

Trainer and mentor for newly hired / promoted Residence Managers / Assistant Residence Managers / Relief Staff.

Supervises the orientation/training program for any assigned residences and relief staff.

Relief staff management and scheduling.

Utilizes training protocols and oversight to provide ongoing staff training / education / review within the Residential department.

Provides agency training as assigned.

Schedules in‑service training for all relief and assigned staff and assures attendance.

Must be flexible to working in multiple residential sites; regular travel is required.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements High school diploma or GED and minimum 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred; Bachelor's degree and previous supervisory experience preferred; or a combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program. Valid NYS driver's license with 12 months driving history.
