Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.50–$17.50 depending on your skills and experience.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours are between 10–15 hours per week.

Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required survey activities.

Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours during peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may work on the actual holiday and weekends.

Department resets: Participate in installing and relocating Hallmark fixtures, card departments, and products. You will receive notification two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers as needed in their territories.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, needing to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds on a daily basis and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

Proficiency with a digital handheld device.

Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.

Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores.
