Job Description As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing 5‑star service, and contributing to the lively atmosphere of our establishment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, in accordance with Whiskey Joe’s standards.
Guide guests through menu offerings and upsell in a friendly manner.
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience for all.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar tools and equipment.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawers.
Check identification to ensure that guests are of legal drinking age.
Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of beverage recipes, mixing techniques, and drink presentation.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Knowledge of Whiskey Joe’s menu and brand is a plus.
Education: High School (Preferred).
Experience: Bartending – Required 1 year.
Behaviors: Team Player; Enthusiastic.
Licenses & Certifications: Required – TIPS Certification.
Physical Demands
Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
