Hallmark Cards invites applications for a part‑time Field Merchandiser role in Ponderay, ID. Join us to showcase your organizational and relationship‑building skills on the retail floor.
Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser you’ll work independently in various retail stores, optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory, and supporting seasonal resets and installations. You may also work with other products from partner companies.
Salary and Schedule
$16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on skills and experience
Annual pay increases available
Part‑time position with a variable schedule (average 7‑17 hours per week)
Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required
Responsibilities
Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device
Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys
Engage professionally with store employees, management, and customers
Support holiday demand, including additional days and extended hours around Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (may include actual holiday work)
Participate in department resets, installs, and relocations, often announced two weeks in advance
Collaborate with the merchandising network to support team members as needed
Physical Requirements Consistent lifting of up to 30 pounds (up to 50 pounds on occasion), kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs and ladders.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 18 years old
English reading, writing and comprehension
Physical ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
Proficiency with a digital hand‑held device for documents and information
Access to Wi‑Fi and internet
Consistent transportation to assigned stores
