Overview
FAR Inspections is looking for highly motivated independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. The position is based in Reno, NV and offers flexible, predictable income.
Responsibilities
Complete exterior inspections in 5–6 minutes and report general property conditions.
Submit inspection within 4 days of assignment.
Take 9+ property photos with brief comments.
Complete a short form in a mobile app.
Drive extended periods within the assigned territory.
Requirements
Reliable vehicle with good gas mileage.
Computer with internet connectivity.
Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
Printer.
Pass a standard background check with a valid driver’s license.
Pay and Hours This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. The typical hourly rate is $30–$40. You may complete anywhere from 20 to 500 inspections per month, working 2 to 30 hours per week, depending on county size and demand. Rates are higher in lower volume counties and lower in higher volume counties. There is no mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
