Senior Marketing Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participates and assists in business development, including researching clients and market trends
May provide oversight on marketing workload and assist in ensuring resources are fulfilled for operational and preconstruction support
Coordinates various marketing fulfillment duties, including all items associated with RFP/RFQ documents, direct mail, packages, letters, catalogs, proposals, and other sales literature
Maintain and provide assistance with marketing/business development database, programs, and Intranet
May provide training and/or supervision to more entry-level marketing professionals
Create, maintain, and monitor the usefulness and performance of various marketing materials (e.g., project profiles, resumes, brochures, proposal templates, website)
Works with marketing leaders in other offices to assist and support other offices’ marketing efforts when necessary
Proactively work with operations to identify operations for blog posts, newsletter stories, whitepapers, press releases, etc., and work with the communications manager to develop content
Coordinates photography (e.g., project photography, employee photography)
Coach project teams when preparing for various project presentations and speaking engagements
Plans and implements public relations items/programs (e.g., trade shows, golf tournaments, charitable events, internal meetings and events, project announcements, office announcements, press releases, media announcements/photos, award submissions)
Design/create, proofread, and maintain available stock of visual materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, banners, presentation boards, signage apparel, brochures, postcards)
Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain a relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved.
Communicates and reinforces the company vision, mission, and values
Supervisory Responsibilities
May provide a supervisory role for a marketing assistant or an assistant marketing coordinator.
Education and Experience Requirements
Normally requires 6-8 years of experience in marketing, a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (a marketing, public relations, or similar degree is desired)
