Order Picker

Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and efficient? We are seeking an experienced Order Picker to join our fast-paced warehouse operation in San Jose, California. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your accuracy and speed are crucial to our success. You will utilize scanning technology to locate and gather items, ensuring that each order is perfect before it heads to packing and shipping. This role is fundamental to our Logistics chain and requires a strong commitment to both productivity and workplace Safety .
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using a pick list or electronic scanner.
• Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Transport picked items to the staging or packing area.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
• Operate pallet jacks and other lifting devices as needed.
• Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
• Handle all merchandise with care to prevent damage.
• Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, involving frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
• Must possess the strength and ability for Lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be reliable and have excellent attendance.
