Summary This position is accountable for performing quality Nuclear Medicine Imaging examinations through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.
Schedule
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and includes rotational on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
Graduation from accredited program in Nuclear Medicine
2-3 years Nuclear Medicine experience, preferably pediatric
Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy
Good interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or ARRT (N) registered
Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
CPR - BLS Certified
