Summary
Accountable for performing quality electroneurodiagnostic procedures through the application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care and in accordance with organization and department policy and procedures. This position is accountable for providing direct patient care and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal
ewborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.
Education
High School degree or equivalent required.
A graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent formal training is preferred.
Two to five years of experience as an EEG technologist is required.
Certification/Licensure
Registration in EEG by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists is required.
Basic Life Support certification is required.
Shift Details
Varying weekend coverage 2 (10) hour shifts.
