Position Summary Join a dedicated team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities as they enter and succeed in the workforce. This community-based role focuses on helping individuals obtain, learn, and maintain meaningful employment while promoting independence, inclusion, and long-term success. The position offers daytime hours and can be structured as full-time or part-time.
Key Responsibilities
Assist individuals in identifying, securing, and maintaining competitive employment
Provide on-site job training and coaching to build workplace, communication, and social skills
Support individuals during the transition into employment, fostering confidence and independence
Gradually fade support as individuals gain proficiency and comfort in their roles
Conduct bi-weekly follow-ups with individuals and maintain communication with employers
Promote long-term job retention through ongoing coaching and support
Qualifications
Strong communication skills with a patient, supportive, and professional approach
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently in a community-based setting
