Summary The primary role of the Account Specialist is to generate revenue from potential customers and increase the wallet share of existing customers by networking, calling, or other means. They are required to grow and retain existing accounts by planning persuasive approaches while presenting innovative solutions and services to convince customers to increase their business volume with Kele Companies. The Account Specialist works with multiple levels of management, sales leadership, project managers, buyers, engineers, and other decision makers as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Actively promote Kele’s products and services utilizing ASLAN Sales principles and communicating Kele Companies’ value propositions to customers.

Provide exceptional personal customer service to all internal and external customers by supporting Kele’s five Keys to Customer Service.

Direct, monitor, and consolidate CRM data to jointly develop account strategies and tactics with the team.

Listen to and manage resolution of customer concerns by investigating challenges, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the team that best supports the customer’s and Kele Companies’ shared goals.

Proactively conduct sales calls, utilizing probing questions to identify customers’ needs and opportunities, learn about the customers’ business, and competitors’ actions to deliver the best workable solutions.

Meet and maintain all minimum sales activity levels to include attainment of sales revenue/margin quotas, call activity metrics, quotes, and quote follow‑up.

Prepare and present all assigned team proposals, manage assigned sales pipeline, and close team sales regardless of size to meet or exceed customers’ needs, concerns, and objectives.

Support the implementation of sales strategies to achieve all goals associated with assigned accounts by analyzing sales statistics and call data to achieve total spend opportunity in each account.

Work collaboratively with other team members as necessary to maximize sales opportunities while not diverting from core sales responsibilities.

Follow all pricing guidelines in issuing product quotes and develop/maintain a thorough understanding of Kele Companies’ processes and procedures.

Participate in training opportunities/self‑study to increase company and vendor product knowledge while improving BAS industry mindshare to improve personal performance.

Present new products and services to grow existing accounts.

Work with technical staff as well as other internal colleagues to meet customer needs and project specifications.

Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify, and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Create and maintain a strategic account management plan for top target customers.

Preferred Qualifications

Two to four years of undergraduate work or associate degree.

Minimum of two years of related work experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use company software.

Detail‑oriented with the ability to multi‑task.

Proficiency in customer service skills and proactive telephone selling skills.
