Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with at least 2 years of freight brokerage experience and a proven track record of managing and growing a book of business. The ideal candidate will bring an established client base, leverage their network, and manage the end‑to‑end logistics process.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Portfolio Growth
Bring over and expand an established book of business by networking, researching, and prospecting for new opportunities.
Strengthen relationships with current clients by understanding their business, transportation needs, and product requirements.
Operational Coordination & Client Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure seamless freight operations and timely deliveries.
Monitor load progress and proactively resolve in‑transit issues (e.g., weather delays, traffic) to ensure on‑time delivery while managing costs.
Ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded, providing ongoing support to build long‑term relationships.
Business Development & Strategy
Continuously assess evolving client needs and look for opportunities to add value.
Use your network and industry expertise to identify new business opportunities within the existing base and new prospects.
Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as required to ensure the success of your portfolio and department.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least 2 years of freight brokerage experience, with the ability to bring your current book of business.
Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business in logistics or freight brokerage.

Communication: exceptional written and verbal communication skills for working with both clients and internal teams.
Self‑Motivation: entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and manage your book of business effectively.
Multi‑tasking & Time Management: capable of juggling multiple client needs and tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Problem‑Solving & Critical Thinking: ability to quickly analyze complex situations, make decisions, and implement solutions that ensure client satisfaction and business success.
Availability: willing and able to be on call as required to address urgent client needs or issues.
