Collections Specialist

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to oversee B2B accounts receivable and drive timely collection of outstanding balances for one of our valued clients in Peachtree Corners. This role combines financial accuracy with strong relationship management, ensuring compliance with credit policies while maintaining a positive client experience. What You'll Do

Manage Accounts: Oversee a high-volume portfolio of business accounts and ensure prompt collection of invoices. Client Engagement: Communicate professionally with clients to negotiate payment arrangements and maintain strong partnerships. Credit Oversight: Monitor account status and enforce credit holds/releases in line with company policy. Reconcile & Resolve: Investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal departments to resolve billing issues and streamline processes. Maintain Records: Document all collection activities, communications, and payment updates. Report Performance: Prepare regular reports on aging accounts and collection progress. What You Bring

Experience: 3+ years of recent commercial/B2B collections experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) and intermediate Excel (pivot tables). Communication: Strong verbal and written skills with a customer-first mindset. Work Style: Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and problem-solving skills. Preferred

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management. Background in manufacturing or industrial environments. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP systems.
