Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner prompts.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment along your picking route.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks such as stocking, replenishment, or basic sorting.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team dynamic.
- Ensure the highest quality of order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable attendance and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- A desire to work and grow within the logistics field.
