Processing freight Assisting with price changes and markdowns Balancing the register according to company policy Calling out prices for customers when ringing transactions Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout Handling cash, checks and credit cards according to company policy Obtaining management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks Maintaining and performing housekeeping duties as assigned Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing customers in a timely fashion, and inviting them to return Following all safety procedures Maintaining a professional, neat appearance and wearing a name tag Assisting management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels Assisting management with tasks requested per company policy Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions Supporting Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following current operational policies Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages Seniority level
