Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it. Responsibilities
Processing freight Assisting with price changes/markdowns Balancing the register according to company policy Calling out prices for customers when ringing transactions Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout Handling cash, checks and credit cards according to company policy Obtaining management approval for returns, voids and checks as needed Maintaining and cleaning the store as assigned Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing customers in promptly, and inviting them to return Following all safety procedures Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag Assisting management with merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels Assisting management with any tasks requested per company policy Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures and reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
