Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Conduct investigative work and make coverage determinations for liability injury claims
Handle various claims including Medical Payments, PIP, Uninsured Motorists, and Auto-Death Benefits
Develop negotiation strategies to effectively resolve claims with insureds and claimants
Participate in taking first notice of loss calls and assist in departmental phone queues as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
2+ years of Casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience
High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses (state‑specific) within the first 90 days of employment
Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while communicating effectively with diverse individuals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with Commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area
Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
Capability to complete training and perform the job in a remote setting
