Job Description and Duties
Initiate and engage in good‑faith interactive processes for reasonable accommodation requests;
Administer all aspects of the Reasonable Accommodation program;
Provide program materials, resources, and guidance to team members and leaders;
Manage documentation, including certification and recertification;
Determine program eligibility and apply applicable provisions;
Issue letters of determinations based on medical information and eligibility requirements;
Assist the HSU Specialist in addressing ergonomic evaluation requests;
Develop and deliver presentations, training, and communications related to the Reasonable Accommodation and Employee Assistance (EAP) programs.
Telework Information This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule: up to two days of remote work and three days onsite per week.
Sponsorship This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
Effective July 1, 2025: Personal Leave Program 2025 Each employee will receive a 3% reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly. Salary ranges do not reflect this reduction.

Minimum qualifications are specified in the Class Specification for this classification.

Strong analytical thinking skills and ability to provide sound, well‑reasoned recommendations;
Knowledge of Reasonable Accommodation program, policies, and regulations;
Experience consulting with and advising management and executive leadership across a wide range of subject‑matter areas;
Adaptability, creativity, and relationship‑building skills with staff at all levels;
Understanding of health and safety program requirements, best practices, and compliance considerations;
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and training skills;
Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster a supportive, inclusive work environment.
