The Analyst II supports the California Department of Public Health by overseeing complex analytical tasks related to program policy, procedures, and interpretation of the State Administration Manual (SAM) and the Public Health Administration Manual (PHAM) as they pertain to Center for Health Care Quality (CHCQ) Facilities, Fleet and Asset Management Programs. The Analyst enforces applicable requirements and standards, preparing documents and reports and making recommendations to senior management on all facility operations and space planning. Key Responsibilities

Enforce applicable requirements and standards per SAM and PHAM. Prepare analytical documents, reports, and recommendations for senior management. Interpret and apply policy related to facility operations and space planning. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure compliance with state regulations. Telework

Teleworking may be available in accordance with CDPH’s Telework Policy and Procedures. Telework is granted at the discretion of the Department and requires the employee to maintain California residency. Candidates residing outside California may be interviewed but must establish primary residency prior to appointment. Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025

This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will incur a 3% monthly base pay reduction in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. The salary ranges shown do not reflect this reduction. Minimum Requirements

Ability to establish workload priorities. Excellent organization of materials. Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
