G.A. West & Co. is seeking a Bilingual Onboarding Specialist in Creola, Alabama. The person hired for this role will also serve as a Translator for the Human Resources Department and must be able to speak both English and Spanish fluently. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity at our main office.
Responsibilities
Schedule employees to complete hire and rehire process following client specific protocol
Ensure all onboarding paperwork is filled out correctly and in full
Ensure required documentation is gathered at hire in such as employee identification, direct deposit information and make copies of any relevant certifications such as OSHA, crane operator cards, etc.
Schedule site orientations and set up and administer OSHA classes and refreshers
Oversee observed drug screens and schedule clinic visits
Enter employee information into database and scan in paperwork to appropriate electronic filing system
Create employee badges and explain clocking in and out instructions
Communicate with supervisors regarding timelines, changes, and status updates
Send required information to home office via email and shipping
General administrative duties to include but not limited to answering phones, relaying messages, proofreading, filing, etc.
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED and minimum 3-5 years of professional administrative experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Must be organized, detail oriented and able to manage time and priorities
Must have the ability to work independently and proactively seek solutions
HR Background preferred
Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
