Description Of Work
Reporting to the Medical Department, this position will provide daily contact with offenders.
Typing
Medical reports
Filing, appointment scheduling, and telephone completeness.
Maintaining medical records on site in a confidential manner and performing clerical functions as assigned in compliance with the requirements of the health‑care procedures manual.
Ensuring all records are initiated, processed and transferred in a correct and timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities / Management Preferences Qualifications
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Experience performing administrative functions in an office setting.
Experience in organization, retention, review and filing of records.
Minimum Education And Experience High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary Range $37,782 - $66,120
