Bryson
The Property & Casualty Account Manager will take ownership of approximately 70 local and national accounts. You will work with a group of assigned clients, manage the day‑to‑day, build relationships, and make an impact by providing an extraordinary level of service, supporting ongoing and long‑term client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Stay informed in insurance technical knowledge, market trends, agency automation, company information, and other operating techniques
Maintain open and clear communication channels with clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners
Develop connections beyond the producer’s relationship with the key decision makers in book of business
Identify problems, summarize, and develop strategic solutions
Follow‑up with carriers and wholesalers to secure quotations and misc. data by set deadline
Communicate due dates, timelines, and expectations to clients and partners
Prepare ACORD Forms and specific marketing applications through communication with producer and prospect/client
Collect loss history from carriers and prospect/client
Submit ACORD Form data, specific marketing applications, and loss history information to insurance carriers and wholesalers via email or carrier website/portal
Follow‑up with prospects and clients to secure additional underwriting data or misc. info
Prepare proposals for new business and client renewals
Review proposals with prospects and clients by phone or in‑person based on client needs
Monthly or quarterly communication with key referral contacts
Make sure the client is aware of all resources Bryson offers
Qualifications
High level of technical insurance knowledge
An active California State Property & Casualty License
5+ years of Insurance Account Management & Servicing
Sound professional and personal judgment
Polished interpersonal skills
Ability to work at a fast pace, handle changing priorities, and have the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
Possess a strong teamwork orientation
Demonstrate strong prioritization and multitasking skills
Organized with excellent verbal and communication skills
Computer proficient with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to easily adopt and work with all software platforms used at Bryson, namely Applied EPIC
Success Factors
Proficient in Microsoft Office and EPIC applications
Excellent customer relationship skills, and proven ability to professionally interact with prospects, clients, and vendors
