This role primarily involves the fabrication and repair of tooling used in production processes and prototype development. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining techniques across various materials, and demonstrate a dedication to equipment maintenance and workplace safety. The position also requires interpreting technical drawings and collaborating effectively with team members. Responsibilities Fabricate and repair tooling for production processes and prototype development. Interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations. Problem-solve issues with dies and develop effective solutions. Work on shear, punch, manual machines, grinders, and more. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on dies and equipment. Ensure all dies are progressive and parts are timed correctly. Essential Skills 5-7 years of machining experience. Proficiency with lathe, Bridgeport miller, surface and OD grinding, CNC mill, CNC lathe, and Wire EDM. Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc, and DMG controls. Required CAD/CAM experience, preferably with Solidworks and MasterCam or similar software. Multi-axis machining experience, including 4th and 5th axis. General metallurgy knowledge relating to cutting speeds, feeds, and heat treatment. Strong communication skills. Ability to read and interpret general prints and specifications. Capability to visualize and plan complete tool builds from stock to finished product. Understanding of work holding for machining and safety. Why Work Here?
