Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare timely and accurate operating expense trend reports and conduct detailed monthly account analysis for assigned locations and departments * Perform fluctuation analyses and provide explanations based on established materiality thresholds * Analyze, prepare, and present balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules * Prepare comprehensive partnership financial packages (monthly, quarterly, and annually), including income statements, balance sheets, and related schedules * Lead and organize monthly financial reviews with operations teams and joint venture partners * Partner with management to prepare the annual budget for assigned markets and account categories
Requirements:
* 4+ years of progressive experience in Public accounting and Auditing * Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation * Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with precision * Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in accounting, or finance * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred * Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle NetSuite * Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP * Solid analytical and problem-solving skills * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
