Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $105,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. * Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and document variance analysis. * Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure proper expense coding and sub-ledger reconciliation. * Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for internal review. * Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required. * 4+ years of professional accounting experience in a fast-paced environment. * Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. * Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, are essential. * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.

* Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify key variances. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently. * High level of accountability, initiative, and curiosity in problem-solving. * Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support process improvement initiatives.
