Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. * Analyze balance sheet accounts and document variance explanations across reporting periods. * Collaborate with operations and AP teams to ensure proper expense coding and financial accuracy. * Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparation of financial reports and commentary. * Assist with audits, fixed asset reviews, and cross-functional projects to improve accounting operations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a similar discipline. * Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment. * Strong understanding of GAAP and core financial concepts such as reconciliations and forecasting. * Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling. * Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
