Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliCoordinate with requestors to prioritize shipment of items and provide tracking as needed/liliPurchase items including: supplies, warranties, repairs, hardware, perishables, and services/liliMeet delivery dates on purchase orders to ensure the closure of open purchase orders upon receipt/liliVerify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork. Check for damage and confirm correct part numbers, quantities and revisions/liliReceive all materials/packages and transact receipt in the ERP/WARP receiving system/liliCoordinate non-flight inventory transfers between sites/liliAcknowledge and take receipt of all incoming materials and packages, identify receipt in ERP/Warp then transport to receiving inspection, stockroom or identified buyer/requestor/liliCount material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post totals to non-flight inventory records/liliAffix verification and traceability on required serialized parts before issuing/liliOrganize controlled-inventory storage systems and locations, and make improvements to material flow and footprint/liliTransport work-in-process material between work centers/liliHelp other disciplines in the logistics department when needed/li/ulpstrongBasic Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate/lili2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving/li/ulpstrongPreferred Skills and Experience:/strong/pulliAssociate degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field/liliExperience coordinating with multiple departments in support of purchase order placement/liliExperience working with suppliers and developing supplier relationships/liliStrong understanding of shelf-life storage and proper rotation of stock/liliWindows operating systems; intermediate level/liliMicrosoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), intermediate level/liliFamiliar with use for variety of material handling and inventory control equipment, carts, palette jacks, scanners, printers, forklifts, etc./liliBasic understanding of the safe use of hand tools/li/ulpstrongAdditional Requirements:/strong/pulliAvailable for at least one of the following shifts: ulli1st shift: 6 AM to 4:30PM/lili3rd shift: 6 PM to 4:30 AM/li/ul/liliOccasionally exposed to work in extreme outdoor environments
