divh2Salesperson Position/h2pSpherion Staffing is hiring a full time in office salesperson for a building supply company in Lawton, OK! This individual will be responsible for contacting customers and figuring out their needs to sell goods at a profitable margin to help the company grow. Salary for this position will be $40,000 to $45,000, quarterly performance bonuses are given based on performance./ppResponsibilities:/pulliHandle phone calls from customers/liliCustomer service- Contact customers either via phone, email, or visit to ensure needs are being met./liliHandle system-side of placing orders, issuing POs, stock requisitions, work orders, etc./liliHandle issues that arise with orders in a timely fashion/liliMake deliveries on occasion/li/ulpWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM/ppSkills:/pulliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization./liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs/liliAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations./li/ulpEducation: High School/ppExperience: 0-1 years/ppQualifications:/pulliEmployee must have and maintain valid drivers license and be insurable on company insurance/liliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliCompetency with Microsoft Office Suite and Comsense (Company specific operating system)/liliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse. The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and twist neck. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Employee will frequently drive up to 100 miles and occasionally drive over 100 miles./li/ul/div
