The responsibilities include supporting quotation activities, developing bids and proposals, conducting market research, coordinating customer visits, and analyzing customer and market data./ppPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:/pulliWorking with the Global Customer Business Unit team, supports any quote activity within a specific customer set./liliWorks with more senior Business Development / Sales team members to develop bids, proposals and presentation packages for customers./liliWorks with the Marketing group to research and summarize information relating to a specific customers market, strategies and direction, market share, strengths, weaknesses and competition./liliApplies knowledge to support the team in executing strategy./liliArranges and coordinates details pertaining to customer visits and audits (including confidentiality agreement activity, visit preparation and logistics)./liliCompletes customer submitted surveys, self audit forms and information requests./liliTracks and presents win/loss analysis for the Global Customer Business Unit team./liliPerforms customer forecast rollups for the sites./liliCollects, reviews and analyzes customer data and market intelligence from all sources./li/ulpKnowledge/Skills/Competencies:/pulliExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)./liliStrong business acumen, interpersonal, and time management skills./liliAbility to function independently and as a member of a team./liliAbility to work with and influence other individuals./liliStrong administration, prioritization, and logistics/coordination skills./liliKnowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite./liliSome background in complex problem management and resolution./li/ulpPhysical Demands:/pulliDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment./liliDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data./liliRepetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required./liliOvernight travel may be required./li/ulpTypical Experience:/pulliThree to five years of relevant experience./liliExperience working with Hyperscaler and Enterprise customers on data management equipment./li/ulpTypical Education:/pulliBachelors degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience./liliEducational Requirements may vary by geography./li/ulpNotes:/ppThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
