divh2Account Manager/h2pAirgas is hiring for an Account Manager in San Antonio, TX!/ppThe Account Manager drives profitable sales growth and manages the sales process for an assigned territory, serving both existing and new Airgas customers. This role involves selling a range of products, including industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, welding products, tools, hardware, and safety products. Additionally, Account Managers are responsible for consistent communication with District, Branch, Sales, and Plant Managers to ensure complete customer service and satisfaction./ph3How Will You Contribute and Grow?/h3pDevelops and executes sales plans utilizing Airgas sales directives and guidelines in order to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts. Qualifies and pursues sales leads./ppCultivates customer relationships by developing a deep knowledge of the customers business and establishing a consultative relationship./ppEngages customers by linking the customers business priorities to the Airgas value proposition./ppPrepares sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms, and estimated date of delivery to customers based on knowledge of Airgas production/delivery schedules and logistics./ppKeeps current with industry insights, current Airgas product mixes, monitors competition by gathering current relevant marketplace intelligence including information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques./ppPartners with internal resources to accomplish growth objectives. Establishes and maintains clear and consistent lines of communication with internal departments relative to customer successes, customer opportunities, new customer developments and other customer specific information./ppMaintains and submits sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses) as required by District Manager through SAP./ppActively reviews and manages existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize Airgas working capital investment and financial risk./ph3Are You a Match?/h3pstrongRequired Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma/liliRequires a valid drivers license and personal vehicle with insurance coverage as required by the company/liliMust be able to use a computer and have a working understanding of Word, Excel, SAP, etc./liliMust present a professional presence and demeanor that is reflective of a corporate office environment./liliMust have a high level of energy, be as self-starter, and have a strong customer service and relationship orientation./liliMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational and time management skills./liliMinimum of 3 years of prior outside business-to-business sales experience to include proven experience and success in solution-selling concept and a demonstrated history of managing customers throughout a defined sales territory./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliBachelors degree preferred/liliKnowledge of industrial gases, welding supply and hardware desired/liliProven change management skills, including building sponsorship, communications, and stakeholder management/liliAbility to multi-task in a high volume setting./liliStrong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written./liliTeam oriented with a continuous improvement outlook./liliAbility to write routine business reports and business correspondence.
