What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Compile, analyze, and report on departmental performance, noting trends and making recommendations
Ensure accurate and compliant charge items by utilizing clinical and coding knowledge
Coordinate projects and audits to enhance revenue cycle processes and billing efficiency
Manage systems for accounts receivable and prepare written reports for leadership
Facilitate communication between insurance companies, governmental agencies, and internal staff
What is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent is required; post‑secondary courses in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred
Minimum of four years of related experience in healthcare; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field can substitute for the experience requirement
Strong analytical skills to assess departmental performance indicators
Ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively
Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders

Knowledge of billing and coding regulations
Previous experience in training or mentoring staff
