Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA, for 3D Experiential Designer.
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Designer to join our Los Angeles team. This role requires 4 days per week in office, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. You will play a critical role in transitioning creative concepts into production ready outputs, including precise CAD drawings, detailed layouts, fabrication documentation and polished client facing visual decks. The ideal candidate has strong CAD drafting and Technical drawing expertise (minimum 5 years), an eye for clean, compelling visual communication and the ability to translate concepts into fabrication ready documentation.
What you will do
Produce CAD floorplans, elevations and detailed fabrication drawings for events, installations and activations.
Develop multiple layout options for floorplans, including area specific breakdowns and 3D visualizations.
Create production ready documentation for vendors and fabricators.
Contribute to client facing visual decks, ensuring polished and professional presentations.
Collaborate with creative and production teams to translate concepts into feasible and executable designs.
Liaise with vendors and Fabrication Partners to ensure alignment between design and production requirements.
Conduct site visits and reviews to verify measurements and spatial accuracy.
Stay current with technical drawing best practices, fabrication methods and Industry trends.

Experience you bring to the table
5+ years of experience in CAD drafting, technical drawing and Fabrication documentation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Vectorworks or similar CAD software.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Experience in experiential design, events or installations preferred.
Proven ability to produce detailed, accurate and clean visual decks.
Experience collaborating with creative and production teams to deliver fabrication ready designs.
Knowledge of materials, fabrication processes and vendor communication.
Additional Requirements
Must be based in Los Angeles and available for a hybrid schedule (4 days in office).
Ability to participate in site visits, client reviews and vendor coordination as needed.
Applicants must submit the following materials to be considered:
Minimum of six (6) CAD floor plans with multiple layout options showing different areas of the floor plan. Inclusion of 3D views is a strong bonus.
Three examples of deck work and graphic design demonstrating visual storytelling and clean design execution.
Any additional documentation that supports your technical or design expertise (ex. fabrication drawings, renderings, case studies, etc)
Hiring Range:
$90,000 - $125,000
