What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Deliver employee relations consulting services to dedicated client groups on standard to complex matters
Investigate internal employee complaints and recommend solutions to management
Consult and coach managers on performance management best practices and employee misconduct issues
Liaise with various departments to manage leave of absence and job accommodation requests
Utilize Case Management tools to document and manage employee relations matters
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related area, or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive employee relations or HR Generalist experience
Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven skills in managing difficult employee relations situations and conflict management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
PHR or SPHR designation preferred
Spanish language skills strongly preferred
Familiarity with HRMS systems such as Workday and PeopleSoft
Exceptional diagnostic and analytical skills
