Mechanical Assembly Technician

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician with strong hands-on experience assembling automated equipment. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings while collaborating with engineers to ensure high-quality builds. Responsibilities

Operate assembly tools, including torque wrenches, socket wrenches, screwdrivers (manual/electric/pneumatic), micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments. Independently assemble mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, gears, guide rails, cylinders, and motors following proper installation procedures. Read and interpret 2D CAD drawings, including tolerances, geometric requirements, and part specifications. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete assembly in the correct sequence and avoid rework. Perform cleaning and anti-rust treatment of precision components before installation. Assist engineers in adjusting precision alignment using tools like dial indicators and laser interferometers. Participate in equipment test runs, record measurements, and report any abnormalities. Maintain professionalism, patience, and clear communication within the assembly team. Continuously learn new tools, processes, and equipment assembly techniques. Requirements

Proficiency in using both basic and precision mechanical tools. Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and transmission principles. Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions. Familiarity with tolerance fits and proper assembly methods. Teamwork and communication skills to work alongside engineers and technicians. Willingness to adapt to various types of automated equipment assembly.
