Lead Apparel Product Testing Analyst
Our client is seeking a Lead Apparel Product Testing Analyst to lead consumer-driven product evaluation for close-to-body performance apparel in a highly collaborative, innovation-focused environment. This role blends hands‑on testing execution, qualitative and quantitative research, and thoughtful facilitation to ensure products meet the highest standards of fit, comfort, and performance. The ideal candidate brings both analytical rigor and emotional intelligence to create meaningful, respectful testing experiences.

Lead Apparel Product Testing Analyst Responsibilities
Lead and execute end‑to‑end product testing programs for close‑to‑body apparel, including planning, participant recruitment, execution, and reporting.
Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative consumer feedback into clear, actionable insights for product and leadership teams.
Facilitate sensitive, body‑focused product evaluations with discretion, inclusivity, and respect to ensure participant comfort and trust.
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams including design, development, materials, merchandising, and product engineering.
Evolve and improve testing methods, tools, and protocols to strengthen data quality and product performance insights.
Lead Apparel Product Testing Analyst Qualifications
6+ years of experience in consumer product testing, apparel development, performance testing, or consumer research within apparel, intimate wear, activewear, or other customer‑facing product categories (automotive, food, textiles, or general consumer products also considered).
Advanced experience designing and running qualitative and quantitative studies, including test planning, participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis.
Proven expertise in fit, fabric performance, and wear‑testing methodologies, particularly for close‑to‑body or technical products.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate body‑focused conversations around comfort, perception, and wear experience in a professional, respectful, and inclusive manner.
Strong technical and analytical capability, including experience with research or data platforms such as Qualtrics, Airtable, Smartsheets, SPSS, Dscout, or similar tools.
