Job Summary The Continuous Improvement (CI) champion serves as a frontline CI lead, working across groups to identify opportunities to drive business and operational efficiencies, design, plan, and execute process changes, and embed the new processes and procedures into operations and back‑office for long‑term sustainability. The CI champion will deliver results while leading change management efforts to build support and buy‑in from peers and leadership teams.
Compensation $23.00 - $25.00 Per Hour

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Requirements
Minimum high school GED or technical vocational school
Microsoft Office competency (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
1-3 years’ experience working in cargo handling, warehouse and manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent oral, written and communication skills
Personable and professional demeanor
Ability to multi‑task and work independently as well as in different local teams
Ability to work with deadlines
Preferred lean/continuous improvement experience and knowledge
Lean – Continuous Improvement Green Belt level highly desirable
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Change management skills
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
Ability to work in the field – cooperate & collaborate through influence
Job Responsibilities
Support (train as needed) local team to seek and deliver operational improvement opportunities using lean/continuous improvement methodology & practices.
Organize, execute and drive process improvement through facilitation of improvement events such as warehouse layout changes, cargo breakdown and buildup cycle time reduction and 5S events.
Active ambassador for continuous improvement practices for the site.
Present/share projects and initiatives from local station at companywide continuous improvement sharing sessions.
Develop business cases for improvement.
Monitor process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support the local team to lead changes and sustain improvements.
Observe and identify deviations from operating model and course correction as needed.
